Families are a very important part of our
center, and are always welcome. The Next Step™ is
a family based program that assists you in attaining
your GED while helping guide and support your
entire family as you work together to achieve your own
individual family goals! Plus, at The Next Step™
your own personal Family Advocate will be right
by your side, whenever you need a guiding hand. It's
that personal touch that makes sure you get past those
inevitable bumps along the way!

The
weekly Family Night meetings are a big part of The
Next Step™ program. Here, students come together to
participate in a wide variety of family focused activities,
aimed at enhancing the overall quality of life for everyone
involved. Over the years, students have been involved in
workshops on CPR, safe food handling, fire safety, and fun
family focused topics such as holiday traditions and family
computer classes. We feel it is our duty to our clients to
offer them as many tools as possible, to assist them in
building their own strong family.

A
key component to The Next Step™ program, are the "steps" that
each family member works to achieve. Although the step are uniform
in design, upon implementation they are custom tailored to suit the
individual needs of each family.
These steps allow for small successes building upon each
other toward the family's victory. The program steps are broken down
into age appropriate categories:
Early Childhood,
7up-Bunch and
Adults. |
